Your main fandom of the year?
Still BSG, in terms of fannish output. For current TV though, I'd probably say Doctor Who. Season Five was just too awesome.
Your favorite film watched this year?
I can't remember the beginning of the year. But I really loved Volver (Spain) and The Cure (Japan). Also Frozen River. But none of those were released in 2010...I think my favorite new films of the year might be, um, How to Train Your Dragon and The Kids Are All Right.
Your favorite book read this year?
Let's see, a list: The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins, The Demon's Covenant by Sarah Rees Brennan, Postcards by Annie Proulx, and Tracks by Louise Erdrich. Tracks, in particular, was devastatingly good.
Your favorite album or song to listen to this year?
Albums: Strict Joy by The Swell Season, The Moment Always Vanishing by Vienna Teng, and A Larum by Johnny Flynn & the Sussex Wit. Songs that deserve an honorable mention: "My Boy Builds Coffins" by Florence & the Machine, "Broken Headlights" by Joey Ryan.
Your favorite TV show of the year?
Doctor Who! Also Community.
Your favorite LJ community of the year?

Well, I got started on Farscape this year. Also Parks and Recreation.
Your biggest fandom disappointment of the year?
Glee. I gave up on it.

Troy Barnes.

Your biggest squee moment of the year?
Hmmm...maybe everything River Song did? Seriously. "Like I said on the dance floor, you might find something to hold onto." Possibly my favorite line from the fifth season. Although there's a lot of competition. Or just all of "The Pandorica Opens"/"The Big Bang". Also "Epidemiology" from Community. Because Troy wore a Ripley costume, and because this happened: "I love you."/"I know."
The most missed of your old fandoms?
Still BSG. Fanfiction is wonderful, but I really miss having new Kara Thrace material on my screen.
The fandom you haven't tried yet, but want to?
I'm planning to give Misfits a go, though I haven't gotten around to it yet.
Your biggest fan anticipations for the New Year?
New episodes of Doctor Who! I just watched (and loved) the Christmas Special, and the trailer for the new series looks excellent. And...I'm looking forward to watching more of Farscape. I finally finished season 2 last week, and then my sister gave me the complete series on DVD for Christmas, so we don't have to watch on megavideo anymore. Very exciting.
