Chuck Versus the Muuuuuuurder (can't help myself) (yes I know I'm still behind)
I've been feeling very meh about Chuck lately, but I quite liked this episode.  Why?  Bentley is awesome.  I was going to be VERY UPSET if they had killed her off when I had just gotten to like her (and remember her name).  Still, that is secondary to the Ellie-and-Awesome storyline this week.  I was so frustrated with Chuck and Devon for switching the hard drives (incidentally, Bentley advising him to let his sister keep the computer was one of the things that drew me to her).  But then!  I love Mr. and Mrs. Awesome.  I love that he's not lying to her.  I love that they are together and that the show is acknowledging how smart Ellie is.

The BM jokes were not funny.

Community: Competitive Wine Tasting
This may have been the weakest episode of Community in quite some time.  The good: Abed's storyline.  Loved it.  I've never even seen Who's the Boss.  I looked it up on wikipedia during the hulu ads.  Angela's the boss, whoever she is.  Class dismissed.  The okay: Pierce/Wu Mei storyline.  Jeff's douchebaggery was predictable, but Wu Mei was fun.  She and Pierce really do have a lot in common.  The not-so-good: Troy, Britta, and the molestation storyline.

Community has dealt with really-not-funny subjects in the past, such as Lukka being a war criminal (on the surface: not funny), but the Lukka storyline was handled much better.  I can't quite lay my finger on why that one didn't bother me and this one did.  I think what it comes down to is that the Lukka storyline was mostly about how Troy and Abed didn't want to listen to Britta because she has a habit of telling them embarrassing things about the men she's hooked up with (namely Jeff "Nipple Play" Winger).  And that?  That was funny.  We got to watch Britta steal Abed's Kickpuncher DVD.  It was great.  But in this episode, the whole storyline was "Troy pretends to be molested.  And then he pretends some more."  It was nice to see Garrett and Vicki and the Conspiracy Theories prof, but otherwise?

Then again, maybe I'm just annoyed because I don't like the idea of Britta/Troy.  Troy/Abed 4eva and all that, but mostly I just don't buy that Troy is suddenly into Britta.  At all.

Parks and Recreation: April and Andy's Fancy Party
This show never fails to delight me.  Also my housemate said she could hear me laughing through the walls.  When she told me that, I started cracking up again just thinking about Oren ("Oren's behind me isn't he?").  The whole episode was just lovely.  I've come to appreciate Andy so much more than I used to--at first, I just couldn't get over how stupid he is, and figured April would get bored with him, but their genuine affection for each other has totally won me over.  I also LOVE Donna, so the Donna-Anne scenes were fun.  Jerry's party shirt was great.  Leslie and Ben continue to be adorable. Etc etc.  The whole thing just reminded why I appreciate this show so much more than, say, The Office.  I've also grown weary of 30 Rock (the last episode I watched was "TGS Hates Women," and I did not like it) and I think Parks & Rec has surpassed it.  Sorry Tina Fey, but Leslie Knope is so much greater than Liz Lemon.
