Yes I am still doing that meme...

This "30 Days of TV" nonsense has led to me posting WAY more than usual. Not sure how I feel about that. Anyhoo, I had, like, a three-way tie for the next category until I stole my friend's idea. But today you get two runner-ups. And some pilotlove.
Day 20 - Favorite kiss
Runner-up #2: So we've had a beautiful, sweet kiss, and an angsty hot kiss. Now we have a life-altering kiss.
Rose and the Ninth Doctor in 'The Parting of the Ways.' I love this episode to a million pieces, and I'm usually already crying by the time we get to the kiss. In their first and only kiss (as this Doctor) he sacrifices his life (or rather, one of them) to save hers after she's saved him/humanity. It doesn't get much more epic than this. (For the record, the only challenger for the 'epic' category was Buffy/Angel in Becoming Part Two).
Day 21 - Favorite ship
May I direct your attention back to that gif? Yes, my favorite ship should be fairly obvious at this point, I do believe. I'll just say that I'm frakking obsessed with Kara/Lee. Because I am too tired to write something fun about them right now, I will just direct you to a few of my favorite picspams and meta posts. They said it better anyway.

My own humble offering: A pictorial narrative of 4.5 (oh god, the optimism! it burns!)
In other news, last night's Glee brought back my original favorite character (as in my favorite part of the pilot), Howard. What does it say about me that two of my favorite characters from this show are Puck and the guy who can't fold a fitted sheet? I think Howard goes along with Toby (The Office) and Greg (Flight of the Conchords) as my belovedly blah characters. Love 'em.
Also, Movieline's rather humorous (intentionally?) attempt to tie up almost 100 of Lost's questions led me to believe that the problem isn't so much that they didn't give us answers, but that the answers they gave us are dumb. I mean, 'it combines water and light,' wtf is that? Okay, I'm done talking about Lost. Really this time.
Day 20 - Favorite kiss
The winner: Willow and Tara in 'The Body.' The first time I saw this scene, I didn't notice that it was their first onscreen kiss. I had never noticed that they had not, in fact, had an onscreen kiss (not counting Xander's dream in Restless) before that moment. But when I did realize that, I loved the way their physical relationship had been presented. There was no fanfare, no muss, no fuss. They just were. And this scene is so, so beautiful and so heartbreaking. My favorite scene from one of the show's most incredible episodes.
Runner-up #1: Lee and Kara in Eye of Jupiter. There are different ways kisses can be awesome. This one is just hot.
