Last night I dreamed that I was watching a musical episode of Community. When I woke up, I had "Dancing Queen" stuck in my head because Pierce had been singing it. Needless to say, I was quite disappointed to realize that I had been dreaming.
I watched the actual episode of Community. It was good. I liked it. But I still wish it had been a musical.
I give this episode an A. I love Shirley, and I'm glad they gave Yvette Nicole Brown more to do this week. Chang was also like a real person! I was not sure how they could bring him back from the extended crazy, but this episode went a long way towards that. So that was lovely. I loved Britta--she was funny and sweet and ridiculously awkward with her 'backseat birther' stuff. "Together my cats can do anything!"
And of course I loved the Troy, Abed, and Pierce storyline. "Who's Betty Grable?" (I don't know) And the shout-out to Psychology of Letting Go! "I delivered a baby in the back of an SUV." "Where was I when that happened?" "I don't know. Somewhere in the background."
Neil and Vicki! I really loved the bit about how every class is about the study group and wasn't it great when they went on that St. Patrick's Day fishing trip...
I don't know, there were just so many great lines. I even loved the Dean this week! "Let's just call it a kerfuffle." The only one who bored me was Jeff, since he did absolutely nothing but stand around and occasionally chat with Britta. But that's okay. We're not exactly lacking in Jeff episodes.
