and came back to a million things to read.  Yay!  I love it when that happens.

Also, I just watched Community. This episode made me SO RIDICULOUSLY HAPPY.  It's just - an episode ALL ABOUT Shirley and Abed.  I had been sad that the previous episode didn't have much Shirley in it (and I'm pretty sure she wasn't secretly involved with a pregnant woman in the background like Abed was).  It's like the creators knew what I was thinking because then they delivered this 22-minute piece of brilliance.  I just really like Shirley, okay?  And I was so sad when she was unhappy and then I loved it so much when she smashed all of Abed's equipment and then I LOVED IT EVEN MORE when Abed made her movie.

The episode tag was cute too.  Hee.  My only complaint is that I wanted to see Abed's Troy-as-rapper-Jesus viral video.

Meme-age.

Day 19: Character You Like That Everyone Else Hates

Sadly, there are FAR TOO MANY possible answers.  I HAVE TO USE CAPSLOCK.

First, we have Dawn Summers.

Now, I'll admit that was pretty annoying in seasons 5 and 6.  But she matured and turned out to be awesome in season 7.  She doesn't deserve all the fandom hate.  And I'm such a contrarian that I feel the need to tell everyone I LIKE DAWN SUMMERS.

Next up: Riley Finn

So yeah, he's no Angel and he and Buffy were never going to get their happily ever after, but you know what?  Riley Finn is a good guy.  And he made Buffy smile.  Everyone complains about him being boring (Captain Cardboard and all that) and okay, so I may have thought the same at one point in time, but every time I watch him in seasons 4 and 5 I remember that I actually don't find him boring at all.  And I like him.  So there.

But the winner for this category is Buffy Summers:

Yes Buffy, I'm confused too.  Not confused that I like you--I love you!  I said you were my favorite character from the show!  No, I'm confused that you are eligible for the category of "character you like that everyone else hates."  Now that is confusing.  Also did I mention that I am dressing as Buffy for Halloween this year?  I am super excited because I whittled my own stake.

Day 20: Best Spike-centric Episode

This vintage trailer is cracking me up.  But seriously, "Fool for Love" is a fabulous episode and I love it lots.  It's got so much good stuff.  But mostly I love the combination of the following moments.
Buffy: You think we're dancing?
Spike: That's all we've ever done.

and
Spike (loading shotgun): Hasn't got a death wish?  Bitch won't need one.
and then the end!  Oh gosh, the end of this episode is so delightful.  Spike shows up ready to kill her and then he ends up trying to comfort her.  It's almost enough to make me ship them.

Day 21: Best Willow-centric Episode

Now, I love me some Willow and some Willow episodes so this is a bit trickier than the last question.  But I have to go with Doppelgangland.  Here, have another vintage trailer!

The trailer does not include one of my favorite lines from the entire series: "I'm a blood-sucking fiend!  Just look at my outfit!"  Hee.  I love everything about this episode.  I want to watch it right now.  And Fool for Love.  Damn, pesky work...

I have my ways (which really means I am being lazy all day and refreshed my friends page just after you posted) ;)

Haha, it's cool. I do that a lot. Sometimes I wait a while before replying to emails or posts because I'm embarrassed by my reaction time. :)
