The vast majority of fanfiction is crap.
Sometimes I read the crappier elements for fun, and sometimes they just piss me off. But even the good stuff has some faux pas (what's the plural of that? faux pases? I never took French). And those piss me off too.

can attest to that fact because I have bitched to her about all these things on many occasions. So I'm attempting to create a list of all my fanfiction-related pet peeves. I'm just skipping all the general spelling/grammar/punctuation/writing problems.
I'm not sure what it says about me that when I've got writer's block and I can't concentrate on my schoolwork I start listing all the things I don't want to write instead of all the things I could write. But hey, it was fun for me. And maybe for you too. If you have any similar peeves to add to the collection, please do. I'm thinking this may be a serial thing.
