I took the "isn't about the best" part to heart.

Battlestar in less than 12 hours!  This isn't exactly bsg fic, but bsg is among the fandoms represented....  I started writing this thing at least a year ago, and I just decided to finish the damn thing tonight.  I can only think of, say, 2 people besides me who are familiar with all of these fandoms, but I think Buffy's the only really essential one, although the bsg scene makes even less sense than the others if you haven't seen Maelstrom.

AN: unbetad, yeah, see the above warnings.  I must emphasize that the following fic makes no sense at all; but if anyone else is as crazy as I am, I’d love some feedback (though if you’re just going to tell me I’m out of my mind and these fandoms should never have been crossed so, I already know that).
AN 2 aka the one you need to read: each of the following five scenes is unconnected, although the very beginning of the first one remains constant throughout, if that makes sense.

'Leoben' has a time-travel-portal-thing on his watch.  Don't ask.  And Rube's post-it came with a picture this time, ok?  I think "don't ask" just might be the motto for this fic, if fics can have mottos.
